Contrary to popular belief, black people do love education. Unfortunately, its been the little ruffnecks that give education among blacks a bad name. Moi, spent nearly her entire grade school education avoiding getting beat up by all the little ruffnecks at her schools. Everyday there was a war cry to beat all up the “smart kids” among which moi was a member. The biggest problem black people have is actually getting an education, what with shootouts in their neigborhoods and the poor quality of schools in urban areas where the majority of black people live.

As unfortunate as the poor quality of education is, it is even more unfortunate that black kids receive an inferior education (moi’s education could not be compared to the education of white kids as she so sadly found out when her little black ass along with other little black children was bussed across town to attend classes with the white).  It is also just as unfortunate that black people have a reputation for believing that gettin’ an edu-ma-cation is a white thang or an Asian thang.

Black wommin especially refute this notion by attending college in increasing numbers that far outnumber black men. But if black men actually manage to keep themselves from being incarcerated or being lured to sell drugs as a quick fix for cash, they, too, are managing to seek higher edu-ma-cation.

Education, black people love that shit.
