Gettin’ Dey Hair Did

Black people love to get their hair did. They also like to get their nails did, but that’s another blog. Never, ever mess with a black woman and her hair. Do *not* ever get a black woman’s hair wet. Do not invite a black woman out on a pool date. She is not getting in that water. And she can’t swim no how anyway. Besides getting her hair did, she likes to try new and innovative styles and color. It doesn’t matter that neither God nor the goddess of nature created this color - she thinks she looks gooood. There is no event, no matter how small or insignificant, that a black woman won’t spend 25 hours in a beauty salon chair beautifyin’ herself.

Black men like to get their hair did, too. They like long styles, short styles, fades, etc. They also like to have elaborate designs shaved into the backs of their heads. If you want to show a black man that you really care about him, get a jar of grease (back in the day it was Royal Crown) and a nice comb with a good edge and offer to scratch his head and grease his scalp. This can be done on the edge of the bed, or on the couch, or even better yet on the stoop. This is a very relaxing activity and maybe one day he will return the favor and give your scalp a good scratchin’ and greasin’, too! Black people, they love that shit.
